October 3, 2018 – New Holland Parade

Thanks to our four volunteers who came and helped out with our first parade of the year! It was great to have our gubernatorial candidate Ken Krawchuk and his wife Roberta accompanying us! We handed out over a thousand pieces of literature and had a great time.

August 20-25, 2018 – Elizabethtown Fair

For six days, from August 20-25, 2018, several dedicated volunteers designed, assembled and staffed an outreach booth at the Elizabethtown Fair, an annual event which attracts crowds of thousands from all across Lancaster County and even from across the state. Many thanks to Christopher Dreisbach, CEO of Blueprints for Addiction Recovery and a life member of the Libertarian Party, for sponsoring our booth!

August 18, 2018 – Dale Kerns Town Hall in Lancaster

Thanks to our LPLC members John Hoffman and Roy Minet who helped the Kerns campaign staff his table!

August 11, 2018 – 6th Annual Nicole Conway Memorial Event

The LPLC had a table at the 6th Annual Nicole Conway Memorial Event, held by Blueprints for Addiction Recovery. Our US Senate candidate, Dale Kerns, was also in attendance helping out our table and communicating with voters about his platform of “Addiction is Not a Crime”.

March 3-4, 2018 – LPPA Annual Convention, 2018 – Shippensburg, PA

On March 3-4, 2018, Libertarians from across the commonwealth gathered at the Shippen Place Hotel in Shippensburg, PA, for the state party’s 2018 annual convention. March 3 was a social day with many featured speakers. The highlight of the evening was a Libertarian Party vice-chair candidate debate between the top four contenders among the many who will be vying for the seat at the National Convention in June. March 4 was the business day, on which candidates for the 2018 elections were nominated and the new Board of Directors voted in.

December 9, 2017 – Elizabethtown Holiday Parade

Despite the comparatively extreme conditions — snow, ice, and freezing temperatures — nine dedicated Lancaster Libertarians turned up to participate in the Elizabethtown Holiday Parade!

December 6, 2017 – LPLC Holiday Gathering – Mount Joy, PA

We had excellent turnout at our holiday gathering, held at Mosby’s Pub in Mount Joy, PA, with nearly 20 attendees!

October 26, 2017 – Columbia Parade

The LPLC participated in Columbia’s annual parade. It was a resounding success. We distributed almost a thousand pieces of original LPLC literature, while simultaneously raising awareness for the November 9th Columbia board vote on the regulation of cannabis growing. The LPLC is grateful for the 7 volunteers who took the time to help us out.

October 14, 2017 – Millersville Parade

The LPLC participated in Millersville’s annual parade. It was a resounding success. We distributed thousands of pieces of literature for both LP National and some brand-new cards we made for our local organization. Thanks to Shawn House, our vice-chair, for getting our LPLC literature printed. The LPLC is grateful for the 6 volunteers who took the time to help us out.

October 4, 2017 – New Holland Parade

The LPLC participated in New Holland’s annual parade. It was a resounding success. We distributed thousands of pieces of literature for the Krawchuk and Kerns campaigns as well as general LP information. We had 9 people there helping us out, which was fantastic!

October 1, 2017 – Ken Krawchuk Announces Candidacy for 2018 Libertarian Nomination for Governor

Several members of the LPLC attended Ken Krawchuk’s rally on the Capitol Steps in Harrisburg, PA, to support his candidacy for Pennsylvania governor in 2018. Total attendance was about 20, and PCN TV filmed the event.

September 9, 2017 – End the Fed Block Party organized by LPLC’s Michael Heise – Philadelphia, PA

Several members of the LPLC were present at an End the Fed Block Party in downtown Philadelphia. We managed to get the entire block in front of the Federal Reserve Building shut down and we turned out a crowd of hundreds. The coordinator was the LPLC’s very own Michael Heise! Speakers included Larry Sharpe, Dale Kerns, Adam Kokesh, Steve Sheetz, Will Coley, Murray Sabrin, and others. The event will hopefully be repeated next year with even greater success!

September 1, 2017 – Michael Heise starts Libertarian Party Mises Caucus

The LPLC’s very own Michael Heise is spearheading an effort to restore principle to the Libertarian Party by initiating the LP Mises Caucus, dedicated to Austrian economics and personal liberty. They hope to make quite a showing at the 2018 National Convention in New Orleans.

August 5, 2017 – LPLC Volunteers at Charity Yard Sale for 2nd Chance for Life Animal Rescue

On August 5-6, 2017, the LPLC volunteered at a charity yard sale to benefit 2nd Chance for Life Animal Rescue. We managed to raise over $500 for the rescue over the course of two days. 100% of the proceeds were donated. The event was primarily organized by Caroline Brown, chair (photographing; not pictured) and Alexis Lerch, secretary. A total of 5 volunteers helped out at various times during the event.

June 17, 2017 – Dale Kerns, Candidate for 2018 Libertarian Nomination for U.S. Senate, Speaks at Volleyball Tournament – Columbia, PA

Alexis Lerch, Michael Heise, and Pam Moritz (photographing, not pictured) of the LPLC volunteered their time for the Dale Kerns for Senate 2018 campaign. Kerns appeared at the 5th annual Nicole Conway Memorial Volleyball Tournament, at Fairview Park in Columbia, PA. Kerns’ campaign centers around the theme “Addiction is not a crime”, advocating for an end to the destructive War on Drug(-user)s.
