August 20-25, 2018 – Elizabethtown Fair
For six days, from August 20-25, 2018, several dedicated volunteers designed, assembled and staffed an outreach booth at the Elizabethtown Fair, an annual event which attracts crowds of thousands from all across Lancaster County and even from across the state. September 1, 2017 – Michael Heise starts Libertarian Party Mises Caucus
The LPLC’s very own Michael Heise is spearheading an effort to restore principle to the Libertarian Party by initiating the LP Mises Caucus, dedicated to Austrian economics and personal liberty. They hope to make quite a showing at the 2018 National Convention in New Orleans.
August 5, 2017 – LPLC Volunteers at Charity Yard Sale for 2nd Chance for Life Animal Rescue
On August 5-6, 2017, the LPLC volunteered at a charity yard sale to benefit 2nd Chance for Life Animal Rescue. We managed to raise over $500 for the rescue over the course of two days. 100% of the proceeds were donated. The event was primarily organized by Caroline Brown, chair (photographing; not pictured) and Alexis Lerch, secretary. A total of 5 volunteers helped out at various times during the event.
June 17, 2017 – Dale Kerns, Candidate for 2018 Libertarian Nomination for U.S. Senate, Speaks at Volleyball Tournament – Columbia, PA
Alexis Lerch, Michael Heise, and Pam Moritz (photographing, not pictured) of the LPLC volunteered their time for the Dale Kerns for Senate 2018 campaign. Kerns appeared at the 5th annual Nicole Conway Memorial Volleyball Tournament, at Fairview Park in Columbia, PA. Kerns’ campaign centers around the theme “Addiction is not a crime”, advocating for an end to the destructive War on Drug(-user)s.
